The spirit of sports is not just about winning medals — it is about courage, participation, confidence, and inspiring others. The APDSF Games 2026, organized in association with the Asia Pacific Down Syndrome Federation and Special Olympics Bharat, beautifully showcased these values at the iconic Nehru Stadium on 29th and 30th January 2026.

Among the many inspiring participants were two remarkable young athletes who proudly displayed their certificates and medals after competing in the event. Their smiles reflected months of preparation, determination, and the joy of achievement. Events like APDSF Games create opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome to showcase their talents, build self-confidence, and experience the excitement of competitive sports in an encouraging environment.
The tournament brought together participants, families, volunteers, coaches, and organizations committed to promoting inclusion through sports. Every race, throw, and performance became a celebration of ability, teamwork, and perseverance.
The APDSF Games 2026 stands as a reminder that sports can unite communities and empower individuals beyond limitations. Every participant who stepped onto the field was already a winner — demonstrating resilience, discipline, and the courage to compete.
As we celebrate these achievements, we also celebrate a future where inclusion, respect, and opportunity continue to grow for every individual.
